stuck at 0% in windows update

I’m trying to install the latest Windows update, but it gets stuck at 0%, or I keep getting error messages like 0x80070002. I’ve tried restarting, but the problem persists. How can I fix this?

This might be due to corrupted update files. Try running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Windows Update. If that doesn’t help, manually clear the update cache by stopping the Windows Update service, deleting files in the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder, and restarting the service.

Check if your system has enough disk space for the update. Windows needs free space to download and install updates. Also, make sure your internet connection is stable. If space and connection aren’t the issue, use the Windows Update Assistant tool from Microsoft’s website to manually install the update.
