Windows Fails to Boot: Stuck on a Black Screen

When I turn on my PC, it gets stuck on a black screen with just the cursor visible. I can’t access the desktop, and restarting doesn’t help. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

This could be due to a corrupted Windows startup process. Try booting into Safe Mode by holding the Shift key while selecting Restart. Once in Safe Mode, run sfc /scannow in Command Prompt to check and repair system files. If that doesn’t work, consider performing a Startup Repair using a bootable Windows installation media.
